Suburban Diagnostics’ offerings in Lifestyle Modification & Nutritional Counselling

At Suburban Diagnostics, we offer nutrition screening, assessment, intervention and counselling for corporate clients as well as walk-in patients.

Nutrition services are available on 6 out of 7 days of the week. On an average, 300 patients avail these services every month. During the morning hours, patients are given the opportunity to discuss their reports and seek advice. The nutritionist takes detailed dietary feedback and discusses the need for modifications.

The most common chronic disorders addressed are:
  • Diabetes
  • Weight management (loss/gain)
  • High cholesterol

Obesity is one of the most common chronic disorders prevalent in most patients. They seek advice on a healthy way of managing these conditions through dietary control and without medical intervention.

Treatment Approach

After obtaining the patient’s medical history, drug interactions, personal background, genetic risks, pregnancy status, occupational factors, food habits and preferences, the nutritionist helps them address the problems and guides them on diet and lifestyle management.

The relevant packages that are offered to such patients include detailed monitoring of their diet plans, besides follow-ups on a regular basis. The nutritionist also encourages and motivates them by educating them on the health benefits achieved by incorporating healthy diet plans with a moderate change in their lifestyle.
